Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chopper is a 10 month old Catahoula/Pitt mix, neutered male, up-to-date on vacs. HE IS BEING FOSTERED IN OREGON. Has one blue eye and one green. Very good natured, friendly, playful, smart, house trained, and crate trained. He knows basic commands: sit, lay down, high five, out, in your cage. Kind of goofy, runs into walls and such but it is puppy exuberance and play. Loves to chase, and run into people but again all play. Loves to play in the water and will swim around even after everyone else gets out. He likes to sleep in bed with you (he's a cuddler), and prefers a pillow and blanket if possible! :) Good with kids. Not concerned with cats. Does well with female dogs so a nice fun loving playful run easy female would be a good friend , but not as well with male dogs so we would say no males. VERY energetic pup. Needs an owner with LOTS of patience and excellent dog training skills (he likes to dig like many Catahoulas do, Puppy chew stuff but not excessive , and can hop shorter fences so good fence or supervison). He is around chickens and has not bothered them to date. THIS IS ONE NICE BOY that is merle and shows plenty of Catahoula as well. He needs exercise and attention and really is kind of held down in his situation. He is not a barker though will sound the watch dog warning and if told to be quiet he does. How many puppies do you know that does all he does? Good start. He would be a good running companion or boating friend. Will he fit your heart and home. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD FROM THIS DAY FORWARD? If so contact Janeen Jackson jj4@midrivers.com for an adopt application. Or call 406-323-3519 We love him, hope you will too.
