My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monroe is a sweet Great Pyrenees /Saint Bernard mix that was picked up in Dallas in November. He was in the shelter for 3 weeks and then just gave up, he refused to eat and stared loosing weight, that is when a volunteer at the shelter called me. We picked Monroe up took him straight to our vet , neutered him and treated him for a variety of intestinal parasites. He has gained weight and is HW negative and has been living with a family since Christmas, unfortunately Monroe suffers from Separation Anxiety and they family is not sure what they want to do....So Monroe is going to be coming back here to rescue.

Monroe is GREAT with kids, he has a sweet easygoing temperament. He is great in the car and is really starting to become confident inside. We do not think he ever lived inside before, so this is GREAT !. He needs a patient and loving family and training. We have no way of knowing what his life was like before, but we know that now he need understanding to get him over his fear of being left.
