Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please consider this wonderfully intelligent and loveable australian shepherd/blue heeler mix Millie is on the small side, with the cutest bobbed tail and a thick coat. She has a smile that never stops. Her fosters are impressed with her intelligence and ability to transition so well. She is doing well in their home and already knows many commands, so someone has worked with her before. She is food motivated which makes her very easy to work with. Millie is doing well with the younger, taller resident dog. She is potty trained, likes her crate and loves attention.
Millie is completely up to date on vetting and is spayed. She appears to have some vision loss in her right eye. We don't know her age but it is estimated around 8 -10. Senior dogs like Millie are a wonderful choice for people that are looking for a more intelligent breed to work with without the puppy craziness. Though she still has plenty of energy so will do best in a home that loves to exercise and have lots of fun outings for her. A fenced in yard is a must for this girl.
Please consider this very deserving dog. She is so happy to be out of the pound and off the cement floor. Her fosters told me that she loves her special bed and has them entertained with her interesting ways.
