My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thelma is a high energy little girl that is so grateful to be saved from the horrible dog pound. She loves to be snuggled and she's a dancing queen! She will prance around on her hind legs, begging for you to pick her up. If you sit on the floor with her, she will shamelessly climb on you to give you kisses!

Thelma is approximately 2 years old and we believe she was a puppy mill momma. The fosters have discovered that a couple of her ribs appear to have been broken/kicked something. She is also a little sensitive about her tummy, so she could have been knocked around by her previous owner. She certainly hasn’t held a grudge against people, but her last couple of ribs look like they were indeed broken at some point.

UPDATE: Thelma is doing well in her foster home. She loves to play with all the other dogs, but forgets she is only 5 pounds! She has gotten several new outfits, but prefers to be naked for some reason! Loves to cuddle, she has spent her holidays on grandma's lap watching tv and sitting in front of the fireplace. This dog is full of love! The foster parents are finding Thelma still prefers puppy pads to going outside. With a diligent owner, we believe she could be potty trained. She will be a tougher case since she came from a puppy mill and was not permitted to leave her cage.
