Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** Available Soon ***
Bam Bam is a small and thin 2 year-old boy. He's fawn in color, has not been neutered yet, and is extremely sweet. He loves to have his ears scratched and his belly rubbed, and will “shake” hands with you. He's a very cute little guy with a happy demeanor.
The volunteer who picked him up believes that he would make and excellent therapy dog, and would bring a smile to the face of everyone who met him. SSMR received Bam Bam from an owner who was no longer financially able to care for him. His owner told us that he is good with children, with other dogs, with cats, and all types of farm animals. He is not food aggressive with other dogs, but will jump to try to knock food out of your hand if you don’t watch him.
He likes riding in the car with you, and is a very well behaved passenger. Bam Bam has been kept outdoors recently due to the change in the living situation of the owner, but was previously a house dog, so we believe that he is housebroken. When he was picked up to be transported to our volunteer’s home, he let her know when he had to go potty. After pottying, he jumped right back in the van eagerly.
Because of the financial stresses for the original owner, Bam Bam has not had any recent medical care, and his heartworm status is unknown. He has not been on heartworm preventative. Our volunteer took him to have his shots since he was not current on those either. Bam Bam will make someone an excellent companion. He needs consistent vet care, good food, and lots of loving.
If you are interested in Bam Bam, please submit an application noting his name next to yours or email Cheryl at cwinters-heard@att.net
