My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winston is a handsome, lovable boy who's previous owners obviously worked with him to teach him a few commands, like "sit" "stay" and "down." Why he was found wandering in the road of Kaplan, La by animal control, we'll never know, but fortunate for him, he was rescued before the Vermilion pound gassed him to death. He seems to still have some puppy left in him, because he is a playful fellow that loves a good game of tug, fetch and chase. The rescue estimates his age to be around 2 years old. Winston would do well with another big dog his size; however, he has been very gentle with his smaller (mini schnauzer) foster friends. A good family dog, he plays well with kids, but can get excited and jump, and he should be supervised if around smaller children. His foster human children are 10 and 12 and he does quite well with them. He is up todate on his shots, neutered and currently being treated for heartworms.
