Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bella! This beautiful girl is an 18 month-2 year old English Pointer mix. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home.
Bella was picked up as a stray with a tiny Chihuahua buddy. She waited patiently at the shelter to be adopted but for some reason, people just kept passing her by. As the staff got to know her, they fell in love with Bella. Because of her easy going personality, they started using her to introduce new dogs to see if they were going to be good with other dogs or more "only dog" material. Because everyone liked her so much, they kept her safe, for nearly six months. But poor Bella started to get a bit stir crazy becoming less happy every day. Shelter life was wearing on her.
Luckily, Fuzzy Pawz Rescue had an opening in their foster program and was able to place her into their foster system.
Her foster mom wants to let you know:
I was so afraid that she'd come home and be crazy after such a long time locked in a doggy cell, but she had perfect manners from the moment I got her into the car. She rode on the back seat between the kids, and never stepped on them or made them yell! At home her manners have been almost as good. She rarely jumps up on people; she hasn't chewed up the couch or even the stuffed animals! The hardest part has been her enthusiasm for freedom. If you opened the front door, she was out and running up the street back past you down the street. It was so frustrating. We worked on that and at this point, she has not darted out the door since a couple of days before Thanksgiving!
Bella is still young and a working breed dog so she will need a lot of exercise. She loves to play ball and seems to get along with everyone. Dogs, cats, men, women, kids and even chickens!
Bella is potty trained. Doggy door trained. Up to date on all vaccinations. Microchipped and anxiously awaiting her forever home.
If you would like to meet Bella please complete an adoption application with Fuzzy Pawz athttp://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.
There is a $40 adoption fee for Bella
