Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update Nov 3: Pablo was adopted this summer and sadly has returned to foster care this week. His family loved him, but he just couldn't tolerate the energy and persistence of a lab puppy in the home. He was perfect in every other way. We are once again looking for a home for this big goof. He does well with the other adult dogs in his foster home, as well as their cat.
Update July 17: Pablo has been doing fantastic in foster care! We processed an application for him, which never ended in his adoption (not an issue with Pablo). He has been great with other dogs and cats in the house. He has been fostering with kids, and while he's been good with them, he can be a bit too much for very young ones, so we would be looking for a childless home, or kids over the age of 12. He is a complete goofball, and full of funny, expressive faces. He will make some lucky individual, couple or family a great addition!
PABLO is a fun-loving, young male black mostly-Labrador Retriever who is so ready to get started on a new life! He is about a year old and has spent his life so far living in cages in a garage on a property that had 150-200 dogs on it. He stood out as one of the most social, people-loving dogs on the property. This is good as it makes their potential to transition to loving house pets very good, but the flip side is that they are missing the social interaction to the point that they're quite stressed living this way. Pablo is showing very early signs of demodex, a non contagious mite that several other dogs on the property have.
