My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is 7 to 8 years old and about 40 pounds. She is a sweet old girl who loves people and really loves kids. Gracie is fine with cats and prefers male dogs to female dogs. We are DESPERATELY looking for a foster or forever home for her. Her current foster home has several other dogs and she does not like all the commotion. Please help us find Gracie a place to stay where she'll be comfortable!

LGR is a foster based rescue, which means that our adoptable dogs live in foster homes. Because they live with us, we know the habits, needs, temperament, and level of training of our dogs. To adopt an LGR dog, we ask that you first submit an adoption application (link below). When we receive your application, we will review and respond via email within 7 days. Our adoption process does more than screen applicants; it allows us to work with adopters to properly match our dogs with their forever homes. Each LGR dog is spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, bordatella, DHLPP), heartworm tested (age appropriate), microchipped, and treated with heartworm and flea preventative.
