Here's what the humans have to say about me:
EMMETT CULLEN MAKES AN APPEARANCE IN SAN ANTONIO!
Just like his Twilight namesake, this guy is very friendly, fun-loving, big, and a little goofy, making people laugh! Emmett weighs about 70 lbs and is about 2 years old. He was found trying to get inside a restaurant to meet some fans! This gentle giant had his paws up on the drive through window of Wendy’s, peeking in at the workers cleaning up, begging for a bite to eat. He is really a “people” dog and feels it’s his job to greet everyone he meets – people are very drawn to him. He absolutely adores children, although with his large size, he may unintentionally knock down little ones. Emmett loves people so much that he gets excited and is working on his manners to not jump up. He is very smart, trainable with positive reinforcement and consistency, and willing to please. He also gets along well with most dogs and would do well with an appropriately matched playmate. He has moments of calm, chewing nylabones at your feet, but does need exercise to burn off some energy. But don’t let his large size intimidate you, he’s a total lovebug! There is a lot to be said for larger dog breeds like this sweet Shepherd mix – large dogs can hold their bladders longer and can keep you warm at night, saving on the electricity bill! And if you are worried about how much he will eat, we have some great high quality food, very cost effective suggestions. Emmett would like to continue his career with you by his side. Due to his innate love for people, he bonds very quickly, and worries when you leave that you won’t come back. Crates make him feel confined and there are many training methods to help him understand that your absence is temporary. Time and patience will help him learn the rules and feel secure. He has beautiful amber/brown eyes, and is housebroken. He is in search of his forever family clan to give his undying devotion to and experience the kind of commitment he is willing to give, but never known from humans before! Emmett’s adoption fee is $115. He has been neutered, micro-chipped and is UTD on vaccinations. Please consider giving this loving big lug a piece of your heart. You won’t regret it!
