Tristan is a large Toy Poodle at 12lbs, Midnight black, born on 7/7/2006 making him 6 1/2 years old, with the most beautifu lthick coat. Tristan is a shadow dog, where ever you go Tristan is right next to you. He is a wonderful specimen of a Poodle, gentle, kind, intelligent, loyal, trusting, a perfect companion and only looks to be loved and petted in return. Tristan was surrendered by his one owner due to having a new baby which is now walking and grabbing at and tormenting Tristan. Through all of the toddler time Tristan behaved like a perfect gentleman but as the child got older it just was not fair to Tristan. Trisatn has been well cared for throughout his life and shows that by loving everybody young and old. He gets along well with other dogs but he really is very much attached to his human and wants to be with you all the time. Tristan has excellent manners and a huge volcabulary so understands what is needed or expected from him, he is not a barker and could go anywhere and everywhere with you because of his mild manner and excellent behavior. Tristan would be a wonderful therapy dog if someone certified him. Tristan arrived and immediately settled in, he lies next to his foster Mom in a bed when she works and will follow her if she gets up to do other things and waits patiently by just incase she needs him. He grooms like a dream and is just the perfect Poodle in every way. Tristan we think would like a home with an older person/s who love to go for walks and always take their dog everywhere.
Requirements for adoption
Must be home or be able to take Tristan to a nice work environment with you
Have knowledge of Poodles and their intelligence and loyalty
Please have an integrative approach to vet care and nutritional well being for our Poodles
Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
