Toby is a 12lb Mini Black male Poodle nearly 2 years old (D.O.B. 11/13/10).
Toby is an extremely gentle and laid back dog who goes with the flow. Is good with children and other dogs. Toby has always lived with another dog and we would love to find him a home that has one where they can be friends. He loves to play and run with his buddies but is very much a human loving Poodle. When play time is over he can be found snuggled up either in your lap or right next to you on the couch.
The wonderful thing about Toby is he is a gentleman with excellent manners, he just gets it and when you talk to him he looks right at you and understands what you want from him. Toby takes everything in his stride and sits back and watches the interaction with dogs and humans before placing himself into that. If the dogs are playing too rough he will wait until the pace has slowed down before participating. He will wait until a human is sitting comfortably before gently easing himself into the space next to you or your lap. Just the sweetest personality that will fit right into any household easily. Toby is totally potty, leash and situation trained, loves to ride in the car and do errands as long as he can be with his human/s. Toby told us he would like to go to his new home by Thanksgiving so he can get some turkey in his bowl!

Requirements for adoption
Must have another dog in the home with relative weight and temperament
If children in the home a fenced in yard is required without exception
Be home some or all of the day as in my previous home
We insist on a integrative approach to vet care and nutritional well being for our Poodles
Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
