Maria—Yellow Lab/Hound mix-Female- 1 year
Maria is a female 1 year old small black lab that weighs a little under 30 lbs. Maria comes from down south West Virginia where she has had a really rough start to life. Living “outback under the trailer” in the dirt where Maria gave birth to and weaned her pups for the first few weeks of their young lives before being brought to the local animal control center to be gassed. Our local partner stepped in and rescued these beauties and here they are ready for there forever homes. Maria is a quite a strong and courageous young lady and precious gem of a dog. She is so easy to walk, is crate trained and a clean girl and she is active yet chill. She has a healthy appetite and could use a few pounds after being the great mother to her pups: 5 boys that are driving Maria nuts!!!! She will be a wonderful best friend and snuggle companion to someone special. She is good with other dogs and cats and just seems to want to be apart of someone’s life who will treat her like the lady that she is.
Maria is spayed, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and is up to date with all her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300 and she'll get a free basic exam at one of our participating vet's offices. If you'd like to adopt Maria, please email us at: charles@charleshendersonanimalrescue.org
Charles Henderson Animal Rescue is open every day from 12pm to 7pm. Maria is an awesome & young lady that's been thru alot in her first year of life. That's all changed now and she will have nothing but the best quality of life from this point on. Maria is a great doggie that needs a great owner. Will you be that family or person?
