Macey is a sweet, petite Schnauzer looking for her new forever home. She was born June 2010 and weighs approximately 13 pounds.
She is very affectionate and loving and is learning that playtime with people can be a real treat! She is quite a snuggler and rides very well in the car. Actually, she SLEEPS very well in the car – as soon as the motor starts, she is sound asleep.
Macey will sometimes hide from people... until you start paying attention to other dogs and then she is right there for her share of the attention! She is good with other dogs and is happily sharing her time with canine foster siblings. Macey is looking for her forever home that includes another gentle canine companion. She has no experience with cats.
Macey is quickly learning the intricate details of potty training and does well when her foster Mom goes outside with her. She is working on her leash training, but will need continued practice with her new family.
Macey is in good health but will need basic dental work and on-going grooming both of which are typical of Schnauzers.

All of our animal companions are in foster homes, so visits are arranged with the foster family. To set up a time to meet one of our animal companions, we must first have a completed application on file.

Please note that we do not adopt animal companions out to homes that show signs of indoor smoking. Adoption fee: $125
Adoption package: All animal companions adopted out of our foundation will have had a Well Pet Exam, be current on vaccines (cats: FVRCP, Rabies; dogs: DHPP, Rabies) according to age, treated for worms, fleas, and/or ear mites, and micro-chipped. Cats will be tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and cats 6+ months of age will be tested for FeLV & FIV. Animal companions will be neutered/spayed prior to or post adoption depending on his/her age.
