Age: 1 1/2 to 2 years old

Teka is a 1 1/2 - 2 year old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix. We think she might be pure bred, but we can't say for certain since she is a rescue.

She's a happy, friendly dog who playing with other dogs and and is very affectionate and loving with people. We are helping her owner find her a new home, as she has become ill and has to move into a facility that does not allow pets.

Like all Malinois dogs, Teka is highly intelligent, super tuned-in, easy to train and responsive to voice commands and hand signals. She will make a great companion and hiking dog! She knows all her commands (sit, down, wait, heel, drop etc) and is very curious and alert. Teka loves attention and will respond i kind with affection.

Since she is a Malinois, she needs regular vigorous exercise. Her perfect home is with someone who is active—a runner, hiker or anyone who loves the outdoors. Daily long walks are must, and if you can take her to the off-leash dog park — even better!

If you want a best friend, active companion, and happy dog, then Teka is the girl for you. She is spayed, house trained and good with cats. She has lived with cats and sniffs them but tends to ignore them.
