My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anastasia (or "Annie" for short) was found running loose and no
owner was found. She looks to be approximately 7 months old (as of 8/1/07) and
a Great Dane - Weimaraner mix. She is already tall but still at that "leggy"
phase that involves a lack of coordination. She is very sweet and gentle in
all aspects except her tail which can be whip like. She gets along well with
dogs of all sizes and is submissive to everyone. She has a gentle curiosity
about cats and could easily be raised in a household with cats. She is great
with children. She is "almost" housebroken. In other words, she understands
the concept of not going in the house and trys her hardest though she still on
rare occasion has accidents. She is playful as all young dogs are but is
gentle even in her play- whether it's with people, other dogs or toys.
Primarily she is a snuggler who first came in the house and promptly curled up
on the couch like she had done it a million times. Getting on furniture is a
habit that I'm trying to break her of but will need to be reinforced by her new
adoptive family. She will sit on command and is eager to please. She does not
jump fences or dig under them. She has been vaccinated (DHLPP and rabies) and
is scheduled to be spayed and heartworm tested on 8/13/07. If you are
