Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Willy. Willy is a great cat who was brought to Alliance for Animals by a wonderful, caring woman named Caroline. He is currently up for adoption at our shelter. He loves to be held, kissed, petted, and brushed. He's a delightful, playful, bundle of joy. Here is his story.
Willy showed up at one of my more interesting colonies. It was probably a sunny day, and it was probably just a shock that such a sweet little guy was hanging out with the street cats. I assumed he must belong to someone. However, after weeks and months of feeding him, the little feral mama with the missing tail and her baby, I had an opportunity to get him fixed and off the streets. It is winter after all and it was getting dangerous for him out there. My new friend, Jose, who has been looking after some of the strays noticed that the friendly ones always die out there. They seem to always get hit because they follow people.. I took him away from the tough streets of Roxbury and away from the cold, even though he brought such joy to me and to the other cats and even the little boys and girls who came to pat him. I spoke to the two young cousins, who assured me they would never hurt cats because "they live here, too"...yes, they do, along with the squirrels and the gaggle of pigeons. Its a little safe haven of a park but not a very safe place. The baby of the mama with the missing tail is missing now. Life is so hard for these sweet creatures!
I hope Willy gets the best family and the safest home. He just loves to be petted and cared for and he needs to be appreciated.
