My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mandy is a large mini schnauzer. We haven't taken her to the vet yet to verify her weight but she is about 20-22 pounds; very muscular and strong. She has the typical schnauzer personality and is good at alerting you when new people arrive. She greets newcomers with a bark until you let her know that they are OK. She greets new dogs with a growl but doesn't back it up with anything. In fact, she gets along great with her foster sisters now after only a short introduction.

Mandy's coat is dark gray and silver with a little curl to her hair. She buries her head in her foster mom's shirt during grooming and is very sweet. She loves to be handled and cuddled. Mandy is new to us and we will need a few days to determine whether she has any health or personality issues. So far she appears to be very healthy and normal. Mandy will probably not last long in rescue because schnauzers are popular, so if you're interested I recommend that you submit an adoption application right away and get into our que for adoption interest.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
