Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Believe it or not, even a beautiful 4-month old German Shepherd puppy is capable of finding itself in desperate trouble at a public animal shelter. Timber came to the shelter as a fearful stray. The shelter was concerned that Timber’s fear of strangers would make it difficult to find an appropriate adopter. Trained Dogs for Adoption was in a much better position to take the time and care to ensure a successful adoption, so we happily agreed to accept him into our program.
Since then, Timber has over-come most of his insecurities and is now a happy and playful puppy. And yes, he is as cute as he looks!
If you are interested in Timber, remember, puppies are a lot of work. They are as mischievous as they are cute. Puppies eventually grow up and become big dogs. Timber will likely be a large dog within a year. And don’t forget, German Shepherds can live 12-14 years. It is a substantial commitment.
If you can commit to providing Timber with loving care for his entire life, please contact us. He is looking for a quality adopter – in exchange he will give you his unconditional devotion. It’s a good deal all around.
