My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This athletic boy is BEAU. Isn't he handsome? Beau appears to be a lab and staffie cross (which we think is a fantastic mix!). This compact guy weighs in around 50 pounds and is about 2 years old. He has a fun personality and is incredibly smart; he recently completed a six week obedience course and was fantastic...Beau will happily do anything for a cookie!

Beau was brought in to a vet office in Southern Ca after probably being hit by a car; he had lacerations and was banged up. While caring for Beau, the vet realized what a wonderful personality this guy has; she neutered him, gave him his vaccinations, and set him up with a microchip. Beau was adopted out to a young man and his roommate, but that was unfortunately short-lived. The roommate accidentally let Beau out and he decided to have some fun and chase the neighbor's chickens...the landlord said he had to go after that. Beau will need a home that doesn't have fowl of any kind; he simply can't resist them.

Beau's foster mom told us that he LOVES the water and really has a good time romping around with the other dogs.

Beau is a quick learner and is very food motivated; training this boy will be a breeze. He will do well in most situations and would enjoy a doggy playmate.

Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.
