GOT BELLY RUBS? Michael just rolls on his back for everyone and anyone and awaits them. At around 16 pounds and about 1 year of age, this darling dog, is a love machine extraordinaire. He loves people and dogs equally (although he does seem to want to chase cats.) Dog parks are a winner in his book, but he's equally happy with an evening on the couch. Not a picky eater in the least and we have seen no food issues (i.e. guarding.) No inappropriate barking, chewing or digging observed. Trained in all his basic commands (sit, stay and come here). Walks well on leash.
Michael was rescued from a kill shelter. He had been picked up as a stray without i.d. and never reclaimed by his owner. He needs reinforcement on his housebreaking skills since he was not walked or allowed out at the shelter we rescued him from.
