My story

Hello, my name is Florence. Flo for short!

I am loving this rescue life! I was rescued from a terrible high kill shelter in KY. I was there for a couple of months and it was the saddest time of my life. I was scared in the dark and very cold. But, now I am loved by all those around me and I get to enjoy the sunshine every day while I go on walks and play in the yard.

I love adults, children. I get along with some other dogs. I prefer male dogs.. I am a very playful girl. I want to sit on your lap and snuggle. They giggle and tell me that I think I am a lap dog. Aren't I? :-) I also have one white ear and one brown ear which makes me totally irresistible. <3

I was covered in flea dirt and my skin looked pretty bad, but now I am getting all the care I need and deserve and I am looking more beautiful each and every day. I hope to find my forever family soon. I can't wait to snuggle up with you and watch tv or go for a walk. I think it would be great to find that special place to lay in the house where the sun shines in so I can soak up the rays, and feel warm and loved. I give hugs, too! So, you will never be lonely again.
