My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harrah is a very special girl, looking for a very special home! She is already spayed and de-scented, and has recently fully recovered from a respiratory infection that was treated with antibiotics, so she is now putting on more weight and is definitely back in good health, but still needs some TLC! Harrah came to us with 3 other ferrets from a family that could no longer afford to care for them but wanted to make sure they got great homes and were taken care of. Her other siblings have been spoken for by those on our waiting list for a ferret, however Harrah is left in need of a good home that is experienced in ferrets.

Harrah is an albino ferret, and she is only about a year old. Her previous owners purchased her from Marshall’s and we have a copy of her de-scenting and spaying certificate for her new owners. She is a very adorable young lady, and loves to explore things, she always has to be first out of the cage when the door opens, and she fought hard through her respiratory illness yet now you would hardly know she was ever ill…she most definitely has a very sweet and unique personality, and is extremely loving. She is also litter trained and uses a corner cage litter box.

We are looking for someone who is experienced with caring for ferrets to adopt Harrah, who has the time and money to give her a wonderful forever home. Ferrets can take a lot of special care, and care items that can quickly become expensive. Additionally they will – much like a toddler- eat anything they can fit in their mouth, especially rubber. A ferret can decimate a vacuum cleaner in a matter of seconds if it can get to the rubber hose…keep these things in mind when considering adding a ferret to your family! A good page to read on ferret care is HugAWoozle’s Ferret Care page here: http://www.hugawoozel.com/ferretcare.html, and we recommend reading the care instructions on that page before you decide to adopt a ferret!

If you would like to give Harrah a great forever home, please fill out and submit our convenient online adoption application form located here to start the adoption process: http://clintoncrittercare.com/?page_id=259 , and we will review your application and get back to you ASAP or you can call us at 1-888-280-0145 toll free. We are asking a small $75 re-homing fee for Harrah. She is located in Clinton, MO and is ready for a new home right away!

If you can’t help by adopting Harrah, please take a moment to contribute to the care of her and other ferrets we rescue by donating a needed ferret item, such as bedding or toy from our Amazon.com wishlist by clicking here: http://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/1QK1IGLMSJ6PC and choosing the item or items you wish to donate by adding them to your shopping cart and after checkout they will deliver the items directly to our ferrets in need of care now or in the future! Thank you!
