Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I would like to introduce you to two absolutely stunning turtles, with friendly and intelligent personalities and gorgeous markings for red-eared sliders. These two awesome turtles came to us from a family in Kansas whose living situation had changed and they needed to find a new home for their turtles.
We believe we might have a male and a female, but we aren't entirely sure of that. We have named them Loki and Luna, and they are both Red-Eared Slider Turtles – read more about Red Eared Slider Turtle care here: http://www.anapsid.org/reslider.html – this is one of the best articles on Red-Eared Slider Turtle care on the internet, so please read through it carefully before considering adoption!
You can see Loki in the photo. We think this one *may* be male, with striking bright orange markings on the top of his head, his shell (not including head or tail!) measures 6″ and we are unsure of age, so he may still have some growing to do, although we are fairly sure he is at least 5 years old.
Loki has been housed with Luna who is also for adoption, and are very used to each other, but may be adopted together or separately. If you are interested in adopting either Loki or Luna, please fill out our new ONLINE adoption application at http://clintoncrittercare.com/?page_id=259, or contact us toll free at 1-888-280-0145. We are asking a small re-homing fee of $10 per turtle or $15 for both turtles together. Located in Clinton, Missouri.
If you cannot provide a loving forever home for Luna and Loki, please help us to care for them and feed them by donating an item to them off of our Amazon.com wishlist for our reptiles, including turtles at http://amzn.com/w/1H9A9WV0XB7TW - They are in need of heat lamps, turtle food, repto-min for their water, or anything else on our reptile wishlist. It will be sent directly to us, and will be put directly towards the care of these or other turtles in the future we may rescue! Thank you!
