Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Katie's kittens Cat-Tale: The kittens were born April 15, 2007. The kittens were taken in when the mom was found to be pregnant in an aptmt with 4 other cats. There are 1 female, 4 male kittens. These kittens are all Microchipped. Frankie is very laid back. He is very people oriented. He is the first to explore the windowsills and the rooms around him. He'd dp best adopted with a sibling. He is a very cool kitty personality.
Mom is Katie - tiny, tiny cat who weighs all of about 6 pounds...kitten sized herself. She is FIV/FeLV negative. She is available as well. Pretty inquisitive yet laid back and very sweet - not a mean bone in her body. She is loving and affectionate. She is a youing cat and looks like a kitten herself because she is small for her adult size.
We do encourage people to consider adopting 2 young kittens together, there is a link to information on the benefits of adopting two, on the homepage for Cat-TalesRescue.
We always take the cat back. It may be one year, three years or ten years down the road... we want the cat to have a home. Whether it be due to moving, allergies or something else. We're in it for the cats.
At Cat-Tales Rescue we offer the option of Microchipping your cat, if not already done so [we've just started to do it the summer of 2007 and have it done when they are spaye/neutered. IF they are not already done they can be done for a fee of $12. We give you all the necessary paperwork to register them with 24-Pet Watch. We offer a discount if adopting a pair of kittens/cats. Each cat[under 3 yrs of age] or kitten is $75 to adopt......if a pair of cats/kittens are adopted at the same time it is $65/cat [under 3 yrs of age] or kitten. Cats over 3 yrs of age are $65. Owner relinquished cats are $55.
All of our animals are tested for FIV/FeLV [if they are kittens the mom is tested and we strongly suggest the new owners have them tested when they are 6 months of age, as a guideline for the cats health]. All are spay/neutered, vaccinated [if adopted before the age at which their rabies vaccine can be given (3-4 months of age) it is the owners responsibility to get them their vaccine]. We also treat them for earmites, roundworms/hookworms and if necessary protozoa and giardia. We give you all the baby photos we have. We also give you their favorite toys and some catnip. We have lots of information available in handouts if there is a subject that you have questions about [we use very well known internet sites on cat care]. We are always available should any questions arise. We offer cedar scratching posts that all of our cats use, we also have nail clippers that are at our cost. Trimming a kittens nails when they are falling asleep is the best time. It is just a matter of getting them into the habit a couple times/month of having it done.
