Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rupert! We recently got a phone all about a pit bull hit by a car, he had a " hole in his leg".. So we packed up our medical supplies, and headed down to find this injured pit bull..
As we pull up in front of the house, we are greeted by a beautiful lab/retriever mix, his tail is wagging, his eyes are bright.. We look around us, scanning the bushes, looking under the porch, we don't see the injured pit bull.. And then the lovely little lab mix begins to limp his way over to us, and sure enough , he has a hole in his leg. Well, the fact that he wasn't a pit-bull never entered our minds, all we knew was that he needed our help. Rupert is still recovering from his wound, and being treated at Village Vets Decatur by their amazing Vets and Vet techs. Rupert is about 7 months old, neutered and receiving his vaccinations.
He is a sweet, loving dog, even when he must have been in such horrible pain. He needs a foster or forever home-let him show you how big his heart is!
