Pretty, petite little buckskin dog, my smile lights up a room. I’m just a half-pint of a pibble, around 35lbs, actually. My good nature and friendly disposition make me an A-1 candidate for a happy family home. And because I’m just 4 years old, I have a lifetime of kisses and snuggles and adoring gazes to share with someone; could that someone be you?

My name is MonaLisa, named after the beautiful lady with the mysterious smile. I am housebroken, microchipped, spayed, and I earned my A-1 Adoptable status when I passed my ASPCA Behavior Tests. Friendly with other dogs, people of all sizes and shapes, even the bunny at my foster home likes me because I pretty much ignore him. And why shouldn’t I love everyone? It’s only through the kindness and generosity of those around me that I exist today; in the sunshine, enjoying the green grass and the warmth of a nap on the couch. My foster Mom and Dad say I have a very sweet, sincere personality. Funny, I was thinking the same thing about them! I know my basic commands and am ready to learn so much more. I get a little scared when I’m alone, but it just makes me drool. I don’t drool at all when I have a nice friendly dog to hang out with, so a home with a pal would be nice, I think.
