My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Johnny! Johnny is an approximately 4 year old German Shepherd. He is a bigger boy at right around 80lbs, and he is a big mush. He is such a sweet boy and he absolutely loves people. He tends to be more partial to men initially, but he also shows affection to women. He is a calm boy, who really enjoys lounging around with his people all day, enjoying a good head scratch. He has some basic training, and will gladly give you his paw for a cookie. He gets along well with other dogs. He has been around everything from puppies up to other adult dogs, and he co-exists well with them. He seems more interested in people than other dogs. Johnny has an immune-mediated disease which he will have for the remainder of his life called perianal fistulas. He is currently on medication for them, which should take care of them for now. They could recur at some point in the future, or they may not. This isn't something that he has to be on constant medication for, but he does have to be on a limited ingredient diet to help prevent future occurrences. Johnny is UTD on his vaccinations, HW negative, and he is being neutered shortly. This boy is everything that you could ask for in a German Shepherd. He is loyal, smart and sweet.
