My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When I rescued him he was in a 10x10 with two other dogs. 1 male, 1 female, both border/heeler mix. One doghouse, green water, neighbors were feeding them occasionally, ground covered with feces, an old chair surrounded by junk was also in the pen. Hardly room for them to move. All dogs had mange, toenails so long they were starting to curl under. Skinny. Smelled. Sad, sad. Bronson was the one we were leery of however he shocked us and he was the friendliest. I named him Bronson, you know Charles Bronson, tough guy. Told him he was getting a strong name because he would make it and live a long life.
Bronson is a Boxer/Pit mix a little over 2 ½ years old. He weighs about 55 lbs. Very muscular, Handsome guy. He is lovable once he gets to know you. He thinks he is a lap dog. He gets along with females. Males he is very particular. So I would not place him with males. When he is on leash and out of his yard he appears to be ok with other males, however I watch him very closely. He does have some kind of skin allergy. We did have a skin scrape which stated that his condition "can be caused by a wide variety of insults. A common cause is allergic dermatitis with a concurrent and contributory bacterial dermatitis." With that being said he does have several spots with sparse hair. Even with that he is still a very handsome fellow. Perhaps with some high end food this might clear up- just a thought. Once in his crate he is ok. He is house broke. He might be reserved upon meeting strangers. Loves to play with his female companions. Bronson gets along good with children. He is searching for a forever home full of love!
