Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We call her Sweet Jolee. It says it all. She certainly enjoys her “in lap” time and although she is still very shy she is warming to her foster family every day. It appears she will enjoy lots of attention.
Jolee is potty and kennel trained. Her AM walks are brisk and to the point while evening excursions are much slower and deliberate in order to find a private place. She walks well on a leash and likes to explore.
She accepts dogs quickly if they are calm but does not like the more aggressive tones of those larger or smaller. She has not been observed with cats or children. Jolee is looking for her forever home that includes another gentle canine companion and/or a human who is able to not be away from home for long periods during the day. Sweet Jolee will warm anyone’s heart!
Jolee was born in December 2009 and weighs approximately 14 pounds.

All of our animal companions are in foster homes, so visits are arranged with the foster family. To set up a time to meet one of our animal companions, we must first have a completed application on file.

Please note that we do not adopt animal companions out to homes that show signs of indoor smoking. Adoption fee: $125
Adoption package: All animal companions adopted out of our foundation will have had a Well Pet Exam, be current on vaccines (cats: FVRCP, Rabies; dogs: DHPP, Rabies) according to age, treated for worms, fleas, and/or ear mites, and micro-chipped. Cats will be tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and cats 6+ months of age will be tested for FeLV & FIV. Animal companions will be neutered/spayed prior to or post adoption depending on his/her age.
