My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinnamon is a 3 year old red smooth female dachshund. She was rescued by a Good Samaritan who found her in the street covered in fleas and ticks, and nearly dead from heatstroke. She brought her inside and cared for her. There was no owner to be found, so she contacted our organization to help this sweet dog. Cinnamon, despite the horrible treatment she got from her previous owners, is loving and affectionate and will make a fine, loyal companion for someone.

UPDATE: 7/24/07 We had to postpone Cinnamon's immunizations, as she had an infection that had to be treated first with antibiotics. She has a re-check appointment on August 2nd; and if her blood counts are normal at that time, she will receive her immunizations. We hope she can be spayed and microchipped around August 10th. We took pictures today; take a look at this darling girl! She deserves a wonderful new life--will it be in your home?
