IVY is currently being fostered and here is a quick update from her foster mom: Ivy is a very timid little girl. I presume she was a breeder and not handled much by humans. I have been holding her a lot trying to get her used to being handled. She gulps a lot out of nervousness, but after awhile she'll settle down and enjoy the pets. Sometimes she even falls asleep when I'm holding her, so that's a good sign. She had terrible teeth when she came in and the vet had to removed 13 of them! The vet said that she will have to be on a strict dental diet (crunchy) for the rest of her life, or have her teeth cleaned once a year. It is thought that she might be 3-5 years old. I thought she might be older because of the condition of her teeth, but the vet said she could very well be young, but has had a terrible diet.
Pets can be flown to new homes. Application and homecheck required for all homes, the dog will go to the best home for the dog.
