My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmie is a 2 year old female Golden Retriever mix that was surrendered to the rescue because her owner was going senile and was being placed in an assisted care living facility but he refused to leave until the dog was rescued. Emmie is a good girl and has begun adapting to her new life but she loved her owner as much as her owner loved her and she pined for days for him. She has gotten much better. Emmie loves to hang outside and take in the weather. She is crate trained and housebroken. Emmie would be a wonderful dog for most people. She is missing her owner but with the right person, she will reconnect and give all her loyalty and love to that extra special someone or family.

Emmie is spayed, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and is up to date with all her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300 and she'll get a free basic exam at one of our participating vet's offices. If you'd like to adopt Emmie, please email us at: charles@charleshendersonanimalrescue.org

Charles Henderson Animal Rescue is open every day from 12pm to 7pm. Emmie is an awesome & young lady that's been thru alot in her first few years of life. That's all changed now and she will have nothing but the best quality of life from this point on. Emmie is a great doggie that needs a great owner. Will you be that family or person?
