Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whitney, Fixed Female, 20 lbs, terrier mix, DoB approx 9/1/11, great with other dogs, ok with cats, okay with people once she gets to know them, children unknown, shots current, housebroken, not leash, but comes when called, prefers to sleep in an open crate. Whitney is a beautiful, easy to-care-for little girl who survived in the hills south of Rosarito where 4-legged and 2-legged predators live. She survived on her own until friendly humans started feeding her. When they needed to leave Rosarito, they caught her and brought her to us., where she has been allowed all the time and space she needs to overcome her wariness. Whitney has grown a lot since she first arrived at the shelter.... She responds to her name, comes up to be petted, takes canned food off a fork (easier to give any vitamins or medications), and joins the pack for daily quiet time. To learn more about Whitney, please call Sami at 619-632-8953 or email at samisez@gmail.com.
