My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This lovely young lady is such a sweetheart! She loves attention and loves to just hang out with you wherever you are. She LOVES to go for rides in the car and is just an all around great dog. She is great on a leash also! Sassy does great with dogs and cats as she has been fostered with both! She is the product of a poodle and a pug and definitely has a unique look. With the poodle mix in her she has hair and not fur therefore she is hypo-allergenic. She only weighs around 13 lbs so she is a little girl but she loves to eat! If you are looking for a new companion don't overlook this little girl! Sassy is young too at only 1 1/2 old!

Please email us only regarding the adoption of our canines. We are very sorry but we simply do not have time to return everyone's phone calls. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Please email courtneyvalent@hotmail.com to get an adoption application for me emailed to you. You will be so glad you did. Be sure to write SASSY in the subject line of the email. Thank you for checking me out. I will be waiting to hear that you emailed about me!!!

Why Adopt?

Adopting rather than shopping for your next pet will help to reduce the number of animals euthanized. Adopting a pet actually saves TWO LIVES as you free up space for another animal in need to find lasting love through the wonder of adoption.

You’ll get a pet who is spayed or neutered, vaccinated and healthy. As opposed to purchasing or getting a “free to a good home” pet, you’ll welcome a fully-vetted companion animal in to your life.

Contrary to popular belief, the vast majority of shelter pets are homeless through no fault of their own. Divorce, financial constraints, time limitations and NOT the animal’s health &/or behavior are the most common reasons an animal is left homeless.

You’ll save money. Many pets in the shelter system are already spayed or neutered and if not, shelters often receive a discount from their participating veterinarian and passes the savings on to the adoptive family. Also, adoption fees are much less expensive than buying from a breeder or pet store.
