Bio Update 11/28/12: Molly had her puppys!! 11-26-2012 was Birthday day here.. She has 4 ADORABLE little ones, 3 girls and a boy. We will be posting the puppies on the web site here so keep an eye out for Prim, Alice, Ginny and Jake in about 4 weeks or so. You can also keep watching for pictures and updates on our Facebook Page... Ms. Molly did a wonderful job and is an amazing mommy! She is still super tired and we are having some issues getting her to eat but every hour she seems to be coming around to the idea. I wish we knew the environment she came from because she does NOT like anyone but my husband into the kennel altho this afternoon she was letting my daughter in to pet the little ones a bit before becoming angry about it.. Can't really blame her its hard work being a mom..
Bio Update 11/9/12: Ms. Molly.. Well she is expecting Puppies! For sure now, she is due we are guessing right around Thanksgiving. Dr. Dale says that she has a LOT of fluid so may be expecting a LOT of puppies. All we know is she is getting bigger and bigger by the day and now we wait :) We are accepting applications for Molly but please keep in mind that until she has had her puppys WEENED she is not ready to go any place other than here to take care of her pups. I have recieved quite a few emails about the pups as well. Yes the pups will be available thru UYR for adoption once they are old enough to go so keep an eye for newly added pups when the time comes :)
Initial bio 10/12/12: Molly arrived in Iowa this week from a puppy mill in MO. She is estimated to be 4 years old. And according to the breeder who released her, may be PREGNANT! We will know more as soon as Molly sees the vet. Right now Molly is VERY scared of people and won't let anyone pick her up, but she is coming around to the idea of being petted on her back. This is just something that will take time :) She walks very well and even jogs a bit. If you walk away from her, she does follow. Foster mom is going to try to tackle a bath and maybe a haircut since she looks kind of matted underneath. She has been resting in a crate, on her own accord. The door was left open and it stayed that way over night, even though blankets were layed on the floor for comfort. She is super cute! In a few weeks, we hope to see a different dog with a little bit of patience and lots of TLC!
