My story

Meet SKIP!
Sweet Skip is a shepherd/ Akita mix. He is about 3 months old and weighs 15 lbs. He will probably be about 60 lbs at full growth.

Skip and his sister Cindy were brought to AWARE in a grocery market bag. They were terrified, underfed and very skinny. You can see how lovely Skip is now, a beautiful coat and a very handsome dog.

A few times a year we bring puppies up from the shelter in Guatemala to give them a chance at a better life. Mixed breed dogs are treated with disdain and often abused. All dogs deserve a good home, and so Skip came up for a chance for one too.
