My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Billy Bob is one of a litter of five kittens born in rescue on August 25, 2012. Four are natural bobtails, and one has a normal tail. The mama cat is a large orange and white domestic shorthair, who does have a normal tail, and the father is unknown. One boy is orange and white and looks just like the mama cat, so his nickname is Baby Boy. His tail is about half as long as an average cat's tail -- which is the most like a true American Bobtail. The other two boys were almost identical twins -- we called them Bubba and Billy Bob, the Bobsey Twins (just rescue nicknames). Both are longhaired orange tabbies and have tiny little bunny tails like "stumpy" Manx, and the longhaired Manx is called a Cymric. However, I didn't choose to list him as a Cymric because very few people would search for that name, so I chose "Manx" from the list. There are two girls, both calico, one with a normal tail and one with a short little tail that sticks straight up most of the time -- she actually looks more like a Japanese Bobtail that an American Bobtail or Manx. Bubba and Bunny Butt (the calico bobtailed girl) have been spoken for, but Billy Bob, Baby Boy and Bonnie, are still available. (I will be listing the other two shortly!) They will be exactly 8 weeks old on Saturday, October 20th, 2012. They have been wormed, treated with flea preventative and have had their first vaccination. We try to choose the best home for each of our cats and kittens, and we do have an adoption contract and charge a reasonable adoption fee to help with our expenses.
