Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there…Spike here….. I am a small five year old medium energy little boy and only ever lived within a laboratory research facility until I started my retirement with BRL. It has taken me quite some time to adjust to life in this place they call the “outside world”, however now I am doing great!
Currently I live with 4 other dogs in my foster home. While I do like to play with them, I also like to have my own space so a home by myself might be best.
My most favorite thing to do in run around the yard for sticks. I love being outside, so a home with a fenced in yard would be awesome for me. I also do well on a leash so feel free to take me for walks at any time.
I am house trained to a schedule and crate trained. I am comfortable sleeping in my crate and don’t make a peep while in it. I have learned over time that it’s nice to snuggle on the couch, however I will also rest on my own in my dog bed. Lots of things can be a little scary at first, sudden movements, loud noises, and strangers, however I do come around.
I am a cute little boy, just waiting for my “furever” ….might it be with you?
