Hi there, I'm Skip!! I'm an adorable and very sweet little mixed breed dog looking for love!! I weigh 29 pounds and I know that is bigger than a Jack Russell, but I think I am just overgrown and have long legs!!! I'm looking for someone that will love me as much as I will love you!! It won't be hard for you to fall in love with me, but will you be home with me and give me lots of attention? I need a home where you won't leave me all the time and you do have time for me. If I don't have lots of human companionship I think I would get bored and be depressed. I am approximately 6 years old. At least that is the guess from the vet. I will be a great companion to take walking as I love walks or just go bye bye in the car as I love to ride in the car and ride so well!! I love my foster homes big fenced in back yard to go running around in whenever I want to and I also like to go outside and just bathe in the sun!! I am currently living with dogs that are larger than me and we get along just great. I even like the cats that live here at my foster home!! I have absolutely no problems at all with the cats, but I can get a little jealous with the other dogs when I don't think I am getting enough attention so please be willing to give me lots of attention!! I am not living with any children, but the few I have met out in public I did okay with. I just want to make sure I have someone to snuggle up with and get lots of human attention from. I love to sit by you and watch television or just be right with you all the time or snuggle with you at bedtime. I thrive on human attention, so anything you want me to do, well just pour on the attention and I will do it. Before rescue no one ever taught me manner and that you don't jump up on people, but my foster parents have taught me so much now!! I was crate trained when I came to live at my foster home, but I don't have to be crated any longer. I am totally housebroken and not one accident in the house. I love attention and a lap, so if you can give me those - we should meet!!! After being rescued, this nice rescue group raised funds for my dental cleaning and the vet had to extract one of my canines. It wasn't much fun, but I can eat now and have no pain in my mouth and I have fresh breath now to give you lots of kisses, and boy do I love to give kisses!!! I am neutered, heartworm tested negative, had recent blood screening with dental, vaccinated including rabies, lepto, bordetella, microchipped, fecal tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention. My adoption donation is $150 and what a dog you will get for that!!!
