Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arrival Story: Frankie was pulled from the Macomb County Animal Shelter where he had been surrendered by his owner, who could no longer afford Frankie.
Age / Weight: Frankie is approx. 10-12 years old but he does NOT act like an older boy at all. He still has spunk and playful disposition. Dog of his breed mix often live to 17-20 years. He's also quite small for a Jack Russel - probably no more than 8-10 lbs.
Personality Description: Frankie is such a GREAT boy! He's loving, gets along great with all the other dogs (big and small) in his home. He is potty trained, does not need to be crated and is a complete lap dog! He loves his people, is friendly and outgoing. He really is quite a find, even being an older boy.
Ideal Forever Home: Frankie would fit into many homes. He's not at all hyper and would be great for a retired person or couple. Given his breed mix, a fenced yard is preferred as Jack Russels can be somewhat prey driven and like to chase squirrels, rabbits and other small critters.
