My story

Twiggy Bear found himself at the Brooklyn ACC, a very high kill shelter in NYC, after his owner died. Facing euthanasia through no fault of his own, we quickly grabbed this boy up. And we are so happy we did! Twiggy Bear is a seven year old neutered Collie/Labrador Retriever mix. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations. Twiggy Bear is one of the sweetest and gentlest dogs we've ever met. He is excellent on a leash, you can walk him with your pinky! He is also completely housebroken. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and is great with children. He would make the perfect addition to any family. He doesn't require much exercise and we have never heard him make a peep so he would even do well in an apartment situation.
