My story

FOSTER LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT

Toby is a red Australian Cattle Dog mix who is between 2 and 4 years old. This poor boy was at a very small rural shelter where he was not getting any attention and his time was almost up, so he came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue foster care. This sweet boy is looking for a family to call his own and someone to love. He is such an adorable boy who just wants pets and will snuggle up close right by you.

Toby’s foster mom says:

Toby is the most mellow, easy going, sweet boy I have seen in quite a while! He really loves his people and always wants to be right by them. He gets along great with other dogs, kids, and even cats! He would probably do excellent as a therapy pet. Toby is very loving and gentle, rides excellent in the car, and has the cutest little prance to his gait (as you will see in his video). This little boy has one ear that tends to flop while the other one is erect. I personally think it just makes him more adorable and unique. We are working on housetraining right now and he is coming along well, but he is very eager to please and a quick learner. He also is learning to use the dog door. He loves to go for walks and pulls a little on the leash but with some work he will be an excellent walker in no time I am sure. He greets passing dogs and strangers wonderfully!


Toby will be neutered and brought up to date on his vaccinations before he is adopted out.
