My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bogey is a fun lovin' kinda guy! He is small for a beagle, weighing 22 lbs and is likely under a year old. Bogey is doing great in his foster home, and loves to play with the resident canines. He is an extremely happy dog, with lots of puppy energy and adorable looks! Bogey is pretty much housetrained, and with proper supervision is accident free in his foster home. This is great, considering he had no concept of housetraining when he arrived in his foster home less then a week ago. Bogey is a very active boy, and requires an adopter who shares his love for outdoor activities and play time. After a nice play outside, Bogey loves to settle down and have a good chew on a rawhide. Bogey would benefit from some obedience classes to help continue his development of good manners. Bogey is a pleasure to work with, as he is incredibly food motivated and will pick up on commands quickly if treats are involved! Bogey does like to chase the resident cat, and although he is doing well with his "leave it" command, we would advise that he would be best suited to a home without cats as he finds them just too tempting to play with.
