My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a beautiful larger pom (16 lbs) about 1.5 years old. He is light on his feet and still has a lot of puppy in him. His beautiful blonde coat is thick and soft. He is very affectionate and loves to sit in your lap.

Jack loves to play with other doggies, but he can be jealous at times, so maybe one other dog as a playmate would be good. He has a lot of energy and needs to have a lot of play time. Jack is very disciplined, learns quickly, and definitely understands "NO". He enjoys a bath --and he is quite a comical dog.....one day while outside he got a little too hot and I looked up and he was sitting in this tub of water cooling himself down. When he had enough he got out and shook off like that was just normal.

Jack was picked up as a stray in the Gun Barrel City, Texas area and is missing one of his eyes but it does not seem to bother him or hinder him in any way. He also does not have a tail - poor Jack!! Thus, Jack is very deserving of a good permanent home with someone that will shower him with love and attention. It doesn't take long at all to get very attached to him. He has such a sweet temperament. Jack has not been around cats or children yet, so can't say yes or no whether he would be good with both.
