Amos is fostered in Squamish, here's what his foster mom says:
Amos is currently fostered in Squamish. Here's what his foster mom has to say so far: Amos is a gorgeous male Rotti crossed with either Shepard or Husky. He has one blue eye and one brown eye and a curly tail which makes me think Husky. He has a beautiful huge head and is very loving with people. He is young and confident and can be quite dominant with other dogs, especially other dominant males. He will do best in a home with experienced owners that can give him the training and leadership that he requires. He does well with female dogs and more submissive males but for the male dogs sake I think he’d do best in a home with a female dog or no other dog because he will likely bully the submissive male. Without proper training and socialization I would not recommend taking Amos to the off-leash dog park because of his dominant tendencies. He does not seem to have any separation anxiety and only barks when the door bell goes or something like that, otherwise he is very quiet. He walks well on lead as long as you let him know that pulling is not acceptable. He requires obedience training but seems willing to learn and wants to please his people.
