Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ginger is a female domestic tan and white Rex bunny, only about 3 months old, and is not fully grown. She is needing a new home with someone who is experienced in the care of rabbits, and will treat her with the love and attention she needs. She is very beautiful and extremely friendly. She is in good health, and is very hand-tame, and loves to be held and petted...she needs to be taken out of her enclosure at least once a day for one-on-one human interaction.
She was surrendered to us with her sister, Domino, who is also for adoption. Their owner had gotten them from a breeder in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Warrensburg and is moving and can no longer care for them, so she brought them to us. Ginger requires an enclosure big enough for her to move around in, have a nice hide to hide in, and have a water bottle with fresh water every day, a constant supply of fresh timothy hay and staple rabbit food diet, and daily treats (in moderation) of fresh vegetables such as leaf lettuce (red lettuce, romaine lettuce, dandelion greens, etc) or bell pepper or carrots.
Ginger still has a lot of growing to do, but is of good size. She is good with children, and loves the company of her sister Domino. She is more explorative and outgoing where Domino is a bit more shy, but both are very loving and truly enjoy human contact. If you can adopt Ginger or Domino, please contact us through our website or at 1-888-280-0145. You would have to come pick her up in Clinton, Missouri and fill out an adoption contract for her. Her adoption fee is $10.
Even if you can't take Ginger or her sister into your home, you can help to sponsor them by donating a rabbit-related item off of our Amazon wishlist by clicking here: http://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/1QK1IGLMSJ6PC. Items purchased for us on our wishlist are delivered directly to us by Amazon, and are completely anonymous, and the donated items go directly toward the care of the animals we care for until we can find them a suitable new home.
