My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosalita, a 4.5 year old, 6-lbs pure breed spayed female Chihuahua was surrendered to our rescue by her Owner. She had been banished to living in the backyard with two large breed dogs, all whom were running around unaltered, after the Owner’s Sister became pregnant and did not want her in the house anymore. Rosalita was in heat at the time, so was a very dangerous situation for her. She was also suffering from pyometria, an infection of the womb, which unaltered female dogs frequently suffer. Rosalita is around 4.5 years old and has been spayed, given a nice refreshing dental, vaccinated and microchipped. Rosalita crates very well, is good in the car, walks well on a leash and loves to sit on a lap, where she will lie contentedly for hours!! She gets along well with other small breed dogs and cats are no issue. Rosalita is best in an adult only home, with no large breed dogs due to her size. She would be ideal for a semi-retired, active retired, single or professional person or couple who work from home.
