URGENT!! Rascal needs your help! Poor Rascal is just not adjusting well to the shelter. He wants nothing more than to be on someone's lap, being loved. He is positively MISERABLE when it comes time to go back in his cage. He's very sad and has lost some of that Rascal "spark" that we all fell in love with. It's so tough on the cats that come to the shelter after having had a family and home of their own for so long. We had a similar situation with a cat named Tippy earlier this year, who was doing very poorly. But, once she was back with a family...what a difference! She became sweet, happy, healthy Tippy again. We bet the same can happen for Rascal. All he needs is love, attention, and a warm lap. Can you give him that? Please share............and either message us or email us at petprojectinc@gmail.com if you are interested in Rascal. The adoption fee will be waived however your application would still need to be approved.
This beautiful guy is Rascal...he was abandoned in his carrier at the shelter. He's an older guy at 13 years old, but he's healthy and has a lot of life ahead of him. We are listing him as Maine Coon mix due to his appearance and comparing him to breed. Rascal was so scared and confused when he arrived at the shelter, however he is adapting very quickly. He is even getting used to being around other cats. Not so growly and grumbly with them anymore. Rascal is a TALKER! And he has this deep raspy voice which is hysterical. You can hear it on the first part of his video. The second part of his video was taken just a couple of days after he arrived. He is sooooooooo loving, a TOTAL LAP CAT!! He just makes me laugh, kind of a character. He loves human attention, wants to be held and loved all the time. He would be a great companion. He is a wonderful cat and I know will be happy again once he is in his own home. You HAVE to come by and meet him and oh my goodness he is so drop deal gorgeous with that long flowing gray fur! Special adoption rate available for this sweet guy. Please come meet him and keep him from having to stay at the shelter too long.
Each cat is examined by a veterinarian before it arrives at the shelter. All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and tested for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee for a cats and kittens is $75.00. Special pricing on certain cats and also for adopting multiple cats!
