Laverne is a 4.5 year old spayed female ""mongrel"" that looks like a small black lab mix. Laverne can be timid and may enjoy a home without children. She quickly warms up to people and other dogs, and gets especially excited about leash walks outside. She was a teaching dog at the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and is now retired.
